About the RECOVER
Project summary
Research on biological processes is of increasing national and international importance, and water management is a particularly important factor for economic growth in society. The wastewater treatment plant of the future will rather be a kind of factory that can extract resources from wastewater. These resources can include clean water for various purposes, energy and nutrients such as phosphorus or nitrogen.
The main goal is to deliver innovative solutions that cover the current technological gap in comprehensive wastewater management systems that apply both in Norway and globally through innovation in biological processes with a focus on resource recovery.
RECOVER is coordinated by NTNU. Read about the project at NTNU's website.
