Learning outcome
A candidate with a completed qualification shall have the following learning outcomes in the course:
Knowledge:
The student should be able to describe and discuss the tourism system, its history, key theories, in Norway and internationally. The student should be able to describe and discuss sustainability in tourism and the environmental, economic and socio-economic consequences of tourism.
Skills:
Through theory from lectures, the syllabus and the innovation camp, the student should be able to identify opportunities, challenges and potential conflicts in the development of a planned business idea.
General competence:
Students should be able to reflect on the role of tourism in society and to achieve the UN's sustainability goals.
