Department of physics:
We are approximately 40 people who teach and conduct research in energy physics, environmental physics and computer science, biophysics and computer science, as well as biorefining in collaboration with the Department of mechanical engineering and technology management.
We are responsible for the study programs Environmental physics and renewable energy and Energy and environmental physics.
In step with digitization and technological innovations, knowledge within science is becoming increasingly important for societal development. At the same time, it is important that this knowledge is not isolated to technology alone, but also includes how and why we use technology. That is why we invest in building expertise in innovation and problem solving from a human, environmental and resource perspective.
Study programs:
- Environmental physics and renewable energy (master in teknologi – civil engineer, five years)
- Energy and environmental physics (bachelor program, three years)
