16th August – Matriculation ceremony
The Matriculation is a traditional and formal ceremony to commemorate admission to higher education in Norway.
According to tradition, the NMBU Matriculation Ceremony is for students admitted to a bachelor program, a five-year integrated bachelor-master program or a program taught in English.
The ceremony will include speeches by Rector, Leader of Student Parliament, Deans and an international student. There will also be music and the distribution of roses. You will find more practical information about the matriculation ceremony here.
