Supporting documents for applications to NMBU
When you register an application in the online application form - Søknadsweb, your supporting documents must be uploaded in your application.
International applicants
International applicants for bachelor and master programme must submit the following documents in the application portal.
Deadlines:
- 1 December: The application portal closes for new applications.
- 1 December: Deadline for submitting your documents.
Required document Description Copy of passport or ID card Please note that only a copy of the ID-page is required. Name the pdf file passport or ID card. Documentation of upper secondary school Upload a scanned copy of your original diploma. This also applies to applicants to Master's Programmes. Name the pdf file secondary school. Please also upload a transcript of records if your grades are not listed in the diploma. Name the file transcript secondary.
Applicants from the Philippines and USA must also order transcripts sent directly from their school to NMBU.Documentation of higher education if applicable Upload a scanned copy of your original transcript of records.Name the pdf file transcript.

If you have completed your degree, but are awaiting your diploma, you may upload a provisional certificate. Name the pdf file provisional certificate.
Results completed at Norwegian universities need not be uploaded. Please check «my results» in the application portal.
Applicants with higher education from Cameroon, Canada, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Ghana, Nigeria, the Philippines, Uganda or the USA must in addition to uploading documents also order transcripts sent directly from their university to NMBU

Recommendation letters, documentation of job experience and non-academic courses will not be considered in the application process.Translations All documents not already in English or a Scandinavian language must be translated into English or Norwegian. The translation must be done by an officially approved translator, and the original language version must always accompany the translation. Tuition fees Non-EU/EEA/EFTA citizens are required to pay tuition fees to NMBU. Submit a document that confirms that you are aware of tuition fees and prepared to pay if granted admission (Please note that NMBU does not offer scholarships).

- Global Development studies (recommended, but not required)

- Sustainable Food Systems
- Urban Agriculture
Please note that other study programmes do not require motivation letters.
